Becca Sunchaser Palette Review and Swatches

Becca Sunchaser Palette

If you invest in one shamelessly summery update this year, let it be Becca's Sunchaser Palette.

Becca have long been the absolute highlight authority - from the cult status (and best for my skintone) Shimmering Skin Perfector Pressed in Opal, to the much hyped Champagne Pop, they can do no wrong in my eyes when it comes to shimmering complexions. And honestly - they've nailed summer beach vibes with this bad lad.

This limited edition face palette is just a dream come true for me. Travel friendly (a serious bonus as the Skin Perfector formula is a notorious enemy of even the tiniest jolt), complexion enhancing, and genuinely cohesive - brownie points to whoever was in charge of this wee dreamboat.

Sure, the colour scheme isn't going to change your life - but there's a reason for that. It works.  If you're anything from MAC NC20-NC40ish, you'll get great use from this palette. The pans aren't the biggest, but more than enough to get a good swoosh of a powder brush in - and at £32 for 12g of product, the same price as a normal pan of Shimmering Skin Perfector (which is 8g of product, by the way), I think this is a really nice little summer treat.

The bronzer, Ipanema Sunset, is olive toned (hooray!) and not in the least bit orange - though it's pretty pigmented, so fair girls beware. There is a hint of shimmer, admittedly, but not enough to put me off. It practically melts in to the complexion and blends like, well, a blendy thing, so you're not going to look muddy unless you go in on a fairly serious mission.

The blush is a beautiful, apricot, one-shade-suits-most affair, and it is perfectly pigmented - no doll cheeks effect, but it's definitely not barely there either. The whole shebang is topped off by a healthy dose of Opal Shimmering Skin Perfector - and it don't get much better than that with a tan.

If you are on the search for a top-quality, effortless, sunkissed skin palette for the summer - look no further.

  1. I haven't seen or read any reviews on this palette so far! It looks really good for the 3 wearable shades you get, and I love the highlighter shade :) x

    Velvet Blush

    1. It really is gorgeous - it seems to have flown a little under the radar in the beauty community!
