NYX Butter Gloss in Tiramisu - a total bargain
NYX FINALLY landed at Boots in the U.K. this summer, and there was a rush for the stands. Ever since, whenever I'm in a Boots store (which, lets be honest, is pretty much all the time) the NYX stand is half sold out and being frantically restocked. We're long admired (and imported) NYX products from across the pond, but being able to regularly, easily swatch/pick them up in store is pretty fantastic.
I know we're all still into mega-matte lips (although I'm really getting in to this metallic thing, thanks Jouer) however - I've found my true gloss love. NYX Butter Gloss in Tiramisu.
If you're an NC30ish skintone like me, you'll find this to be the most beautiful mauve-pink nude colour that goes with any eye look. It's also a perfect everyday throw-on colour - not too nude, not too pink, and very comfortable to wear.
The formula is creamy, easy to apply, and really effortless. It plays nicely with others (on top of lipstick or lip liner) and gives that really juicy, glossy effect. I get about 2 hours' wear from the formula before needing to re-apply - pretty standard for a gloss, really.
Oh, the best thing? Minimal stickiness. No horrendous hair-in-mouth situation. Score.
I am really chuffed with this gloss, especially at the £5 price point - I mean, its a fantastic gloss regardless of price, but seems even better in the economical section of my brain at a mere fiver.
